A Mask unlike the Face

D’Angers gallery is pleased to showcase “a mask unlike the face”, a solo exhibition of portrait paintings of Iranian artist Adel Sadodin. In this exhibition, 24 portrait paintings with the technique of acrylic on cardboard are showcased.
Adel Sadedin was born in 1983 in an artistic family in Semnan, Iran. He studied English literature and then Painting at Semnan University and the University of Tehran (faculty of Fine Art), respectively. He is now teaching art in University of Semnan. Through the search for what makes a human, Adel Sadedin believes that the soul of a human is very unique; and the most common thing among people at the same time. Each of the portraits is trying to capture a moment of the flow of soul. 28 paintings from artist Adel Sadedin (acrylic on paper) is showcased in the exhibition; all of them are portraits, so the name “a mask unlike the face”.
Exhibition will open to the public from November 24 to December 21, 2017 from 9 to 12 and from 18 to 22 every day (except Saturdays) with a talk by artist from 18 to 20 on 20 December 2017.
