Artists: Mohamad Hadi Fadavi, Parvane Razaghi, Hiroo Sheikholeslam, F Akhlaghi and Safoora Esma’ilnejad
D’Angers gallery is pleased to present “Ramesh o Dilan”, a group exhibition of paintings of Mohamad Hadi Fadavi, Parvane Razaghi, Hiroo Sheikholeslam, F Akhlaghi and Safoora Esma’ilnejad.
In this exhibition 20 mixed-technique and acrylic paintings are showcased. In these artworks the main focus is on horses and dance, as important elements of ancient Persian culture. Hence the name “Ramesh o Dilan”, Ramesh means dance in Persian and has a hint to taming a horse and Dilan means dance in Kurdish ( which is spoken in west of Iran)
In ancient Persia dance was so important that every ritual had its own dance, and this continued to exist among Kurds (an ethnicity group which lives in western Iran), therefore, although these artworks have to be classified as contemporary art; but a very traditional soul unites them all.
Exhibition will be opened to the public from 4 August to 3 September 2018 from 18 to 22 every day (except Saturdays).
